A template contains a list of 'actions' (e.g. add composer, change music origin) that can be applied to multiple cues simultaneously to amend their data.
Creating a Template
Within a cue sheet that you can currently edit, click on Actions then Apply Templates.
Choose Create New Template from the dropdown provided, and then begin specifying the types of edits to be made. Choose the appropriate field and make use of the additional radio buttons, dropdowns and textboxes that appear to detail your changes. Click on the add icon to add an action to the template. The action will appear in a list in the form.
Specify any additional actions by again making a selection from the dropdown and filling in the relevant info. Once all actions have been added to the template, click on the save icon located in the upper right corner of the form.
Give the template a name and then click on Save one final time to save it. If a template with the same name already exists, users will be asked if they want to overwrite the existing template.
Applying a Template
Within a cue sheet, select the tickboxes of the cues to be edited. Click on Actions and Apply Templates. Choose the template to be applied from the dropdown menu and then click on Apply. The user will be prompted to click Apply one final time before the edits specified in the template are pushed to the cues.
Favouriting a Template
In template view – after clicking on Actions, Apply Templates and then selecting the appropriate option from the dropdown – users can click on the star icon in the upper right corner of the template form to mark it as a favourtie. Favourited templates will appear towards the top of the template dropdown. Click on the star icon again in the template form to remove the favourited status.
Deleting a Template
To delete a template simply locate it in the template view dropdown and click on its corresponding delete icon. The template will be deleted immediately. There is no additional prompt. Favourited templates must first be unfavourited before they can be deleted.
