Reports Module

Within the Reports Module, users can see a log of previously run reports as well as create new ones.

Create a New Report

To create a new report click on the Actions dropdown and then Create Report.

Give the report a name, select the report type from the dropdown and then begin defining the parameters. Different report types will have different parameter requirements. Users can click on the red number in the upper right corner to see which fields are required.

Make use of the corresponding edit icons to select which Channels, Productions, Production Sources, etc. to include/exclude. Once all parameters have been set accordingly, click on Create

After clicking on Create, the report will be given a status of Processing. The progression of statuses will differ depending on the type of report (Business Analytics vs Society) created. For more information about statuses, see Report Status Progression in our FAQs. 

Searching for Existing Reports

Click on the search icon, select the field to search from the dropdown menu, enter in a term and then make use of the Filters to further narrow the search parameters. Users can filter by report Status, Type, Date Created and Sign Off. To remove all Filters, click on Reset.

Click on Find to run the search and see a list of results. To save a search for future use, click on the save icon and give it a name.  Once saved, a search will be listed in the dropdown located to the right of the search icon. 

Report Info

Click on a report's info icon to see a description of its parameters.  Click on additional info icons in order to see further details in a popover.

While reviewing report info, users can also duplicate and download the report.

Duplicate a Report

To duplicate an existing report, click on the report's info icon and then click on the Duplicate button. Amend the report name and parameters as necessary and then click Create.

Download a Report

To download a report, simply click on its corresponding download icon or open up the report info and click on the Download button.

Delete a Report

To delete a report, locate it in the Reports home screen and select its corresponding tickbox. From there click on Actions and then Delete. Only reports with certain statuses can be deleted. For more info, see our FAQs.
